Podcast: Digital transformation and the challenges for Bulgarian industry
Ognian Trajanov, founder and owner of TechnoLogica and DiTra, was a guest of Alexander Boychev in the podcast Digitalks. The two talked about the digitalization of industry and society that is occurring at an accelerated pace after the pandemic.
Bulgarian businesses that participate in global supply chains are now facing serious demands for flexibility, quality improvement and customization. Customers expect a high level of digitalisation – integration of production facilities, robotics, automation and protection of information and intellectual property.
Alongside this, more and more domestic enterprises are taking steps to digitally transform their operations to be more competitive. Nearly 700 companies from the real Bulgarian economy, which TechnoLogica and its 3D solutions center DiTra support in this process, are implementing high-tech automation and robotics solutions, enriching their machine fleets and increasing their productivity with digital twins. Moreover, recognizing the need for digitalization and optimization, they are also introducing a manufacturing operations management system.
Why are innovations born in companies that are close to the market, constantly in touch with customers and not necessarily in start-ups?
What professionals will the industry need as automation and robotics accelerate?
