TechnoLogica Clients Recognized at the 2025 BAUH Annual HR Awards for Projects Implemented with HeRMeS

Kozloduy NPP and SOF Connect were honored at the 2025 Annual HR Awards of the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM).  A key element in both projects was the automation and digitalization of business processes, achieved through the integrated HR system HeRMeS, developed by TechnoLogica.

Kozloduy NPP received the award in the “HR Tech Project of the Year” category for its project “Nuclear Knowledge Continuity 4.0: Digital Transformation of Knowledge Management and Mentorship.” The project focuses on reliably preserving and structuring critical knowledge essential for the safe and long-term operation of nuclear facilities, treating it as a corporate asset that adds value to the company.

Through HeRMeS, the knowledge management and mentorship processes are fully structured and digitalized. The system supports the identification of knowledge at risk, calculation of risk factors, electronic self-assessments, and planning of measures to minimize expertise loss. Mentorship is also digitalized through a dedicated module that allows for the creation and monitoring of individualized development programs.

In 2025, a knowledge loss risk assessment was conducted for 189 employees from key departments, 22 knowledge retention plans with over 140 specific measures were developed, along with 225 individualized mentorship programs—all managed electronically. This ensures that critical knowledge is effectively preserved and transferred across employee generations.

SOF Connect was recognized in the “Best HR Project in a Large Company” category for the large-scale transformation of the Security Directorate at Vasil Levski Airport – Sofia. The project involved a complete organizational redesign, a new compensation scheme, and optimization of employee recruitment, training, and certification processes in a high-stakes environment.

The implemented HeRMeS system plays a central role in digitizing processes and organizational management, covering positions and roles, assessments, training, and compensation. It enables 100% of employees to access its digital services, simplifying administration and improving the traceability of all key activities.

The transformation delivered significant results, including a reduction in absenteeism from 12.4% to under 5%, an increase in employee engagement from 16% to 60%, and improved operational efficiency despite a reduced workforce and growing passenger traffic.

Both projects highlight HeRMeS as a platform for digitalization and efficient management of key HR processes, supporting automation and optimization of activities related to knowledge and competency management across different sectors. The system contributes to higher organizational efficiency, particularly in contexts of labor shortages and the need for long-term, specialized training.

The 2025 BAPM Awards highlight both the innovative HR practices of these companies and the pivotal role of HeRMeS as the technological backbone driving their digital transformation.
