DLP – Data Loss Prevention

The Data Loss and Prevention software aims at detecting potential breaches of data protection policies, transmission of sensitive data, reporting on and preventing such breaches. To achieve that endpoint (workstations, mobile phones, etc.:) actions, network traffic and data storage are monitored and controlled.

Data Loss Prevention solutions have the following tasks:

• Scanning and classification of data in the organisation
• Prevent leaking of sensitive data
• Integration with standard office/document tools
• Applying different policies according to the level of classification of the documents
• Prevention of sending/saving on external storage
• Prevention of uploading of data to cloud platforms such as DropBox, OneDrive, etc.
• Prevention of copy/paste, printing and screen capture
• Notification of incidents
• Generation of reports, needed for auditing purposes
